Our client is a leading provider with expertise in the manufacturing of large electrical machines. The business encompasses the development and production of synchronous motors, generators, and compensators, as well as associated control equipment. The products are used in energy and heavy industry, where quality, reliability, and technical performance are the focus. We are now looking for a highly motivated person to take on the role of production planner within rotor manufacturing for our client in Västerås. The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can contribute to production planning. You will receive support from several experienced colleagues currently working with similar tasks.

• Generate detailed production plans to maximize resource utilization and meet production requirements and schedules

• Establish the sequence and lead time for each operation to meet needs and delivery deadlines through production and in line with the overall plan

• Monitor performance, identify causes of deviations, and implement relevant improvements

• Collaborate with production managers through clear communication regarding any capacity issues and details about material availability

• A university or vocational degree in production planning, logistics, or similar, along with several years of work experience in production planning, preferably within industry

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

• Good knowledge of Excel and preferably knowledge of SAP

• The ability to identify and solve problems in an appropriate and professional manner

• Good communication skills

• You are flexible and thrive in dynamic and fast-changing environments

• The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize among them

Start: By agreement Location: Västerås, 100% on-site from the office Scope: Full-time, weekdays with daytime working hours Employment form: Permanent employment, consultancy assignment for 12 months with the ambition to be hired directly by our client thereafter
