Are you passionate about service, people, and boats? Then apply for the position of lock keeper at Kinda Canal this summer!

We are now looking for energetic, cheerful, and responsible employees who want to work with us this summer and help make the experience at Kinda Canal a truly wonderful one for our boating guests, as well as for our visitors who want to watch the boats go through the locks!

We are looking for candidates who are at least 18 years old, enjoy being outdoors, have a bit of energy, and are not afraid of hard work. Communication is important when locking boats, so we prefer candidates who can express themselves well and enjoy meeting people.

The job as a lock keeper is a really fun position where you will meet cheerful holidaymakers from both Sweden and other countries. It is beneficial if you are proficient in English in addition to Swedish. If you also speak German, that is a big plus.

The period runs from June 22 to August 2. Those who can work the entire period will be given priority.

Selection is ongoing, so do not hesitate to send in your application along with a personal letter telling us a bit about yourself and why you want to work at Kinda Canal as soon as possible. We are looking for lock keepers in Linköping around Nykvarn, Tannefors and Hackefors, Slattefors and Sturefors, Hamra and Hovetorp, or out in Brokind. Please specify in your application where you would like to work.
