Skärgårdskompaniet transports passengers in the beautiful Östgötaskärgården. The boat M/S Ellen af Harstena departs daily from Fyrudden to the island of Harstena. During the high season, we sometimes also have evening trips to Harstena. We also operate special tours such as guided tours, corporate events, and weddings.

We are now looking for deckhands for the 2026 season. In addition to regular deck duties such as handling unloading, mooring, etc., you will also take care of passengers while underway. You will inform about safety on board, manage sales in a simple bar/café, and answer any questions from passengers.

Personal qualities

As a deckhand on our passenger boats, we see that you have a flexible and humble personality and enjoy providing excellent service to our passengers. We welcome both guys and girls to apply.

Education & experience

Qualifications:

Basic Safety (possibility for internal training before the season)

Medical certificate for seafarers (we can also assist with this)

Previous experience in service jobs or familiarity with boats is an advantage.

Languages

Swedish, English, and German are advantageous.
