Scandic Göteborg Central, located in a new district emerging from the former container port, right by the bridgehead of the new Hisingsbron and just a stone's throw from the Central Station. The hotel is one of Scandic's largest with its 451 rooms and a large meeting department. The hotel features a lobby bar, café, and a lovely Roof Top bar and restaurant with views over Gothenburg's harbor entrance. We are now looking for a skilled team member for our lovely Roof Top Bar and Restaurant Above at Scandic Göteborg Central.

What does the role entail?

You are the first person guests meet in our restaurant, so it is crucial that you have a warm demeanor and are attentive to details and guests' needs. You have a passionate interest in food and beverages and enjoy order and tidiness, both in your own work and in your colleagues' work, all to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. Your main tasks will be to serve food and beverages and to be responsible for your own cash register. You will also support the hotel team with other tasks as needed.

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have at least two years of experience in similar work and experience in concept-driven operations. Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is a merit.

However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.

Information about the position:

The position is a permanent part-time employment with a planned start on March 1, we apply a 6-month probationary period.
