JOB DESCRIPTION

As a project manager, you will have a creative and varied job, engaging in stimulating and social work where you utilize both theoretical and practical skills. You will have the opportunity to express both creativity and innovation in the projects you lead.

As a project manager, you will drive your own projects from feasibility study to completed project, with reporting to the operations manager. You will actively ensure that the municipality's MEX process, project model, and order forms are always used as required.

In the projects, you will work with scheduling, safety and quality, as well as environmental legislation and installation coordination, preparing tender documents and materials for both project implementation and procurement support. You will carry out projects in a way that ensures good results within the framework of budget and time.

You will work in a problem-solving manner and see how small details together create a functioning whole. You will have contact with consultants and contractors. Your points of contact will be both internal and external. You will lead various meetings such as construction meetings, financial meetings, and quality meetings.

The assignment may also include preparing documents such as drawing materials according to (design of roads and streets) VGU, construction drawings, and technical descriptions for land and construction projects, as well as certain investigative work. Work on developing internal routines may also be relevant.

As a project manager, you will contribute to the development of Karlskoga as a sustainable city.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in civil engineering with a focus on road and water or similar, as well as relevant work experience in the field. You should have knowledge and experience with AMA Construction and MER. You have knowledge and experience in contract law and industry regulations, e.g., AB04, ABT06, and AMA AF. A B driver's license is required.

It is an advantage if you have experience in project management, KMA (quality, environment, work environment), technology and installation, as well as law and economics related to land and construction projects. Experience in roles such as construction manager or design manager is also advantageous. Familiarity with leading meetings and handling contract issues, notifications, and changes is essential. Basic knowledge in geotechnics and experience with water and sewage solutions and remediation of contaminated land. Training in construction work environment coordination (Bas-P, Bas-U).

You need to be structured, stable, analytical, and collaborative. You should have good computer skills and enjoy digital development.
