We are now looking for someone with a great interest in the future of agriculture who wants to work in an engaging and cheerful team with a fast pace during the 2025 season.

Bjertorps Egendom is Lantmännen Lantbruk's Framtidsgård in Västra Götaland, Sweden. We operate a modern and efficient farm on 890 hectares, primarily focused on seed cultivation. At Nötcenter Viken AB, Vikens Egendom, we are responsible for crop production with the help of Bjertorp's machinery and staff. We place great emphasis on precision farming and the development of future cultivation technology.

In addition, we conduct field trials for Lantmännen. The trial operations cover approximately 20 hectares and 6,000 trial plots distributed across the farm's area.

The employment is a seasonal position for the 2025 season, starting on April 1 and lasting until October 31. There is a possibility for extension, and the start date will be agreed upon.

Your Responsibilities

Together with other staff, you will primarily handle the operations that need to be performed on a crop farm, such as soil preparation, grain transport during harvest, and forage harvesting at Viken. You will also assist with sowing and harvesting of trial crops. Other farm work, such as operating loaders and machine maintenance, will also occur.

All fieldwork is performed based on precision farming principles. We use modern tractors and the latest machinery technology to ensure high efficiency, precision, and sustainability.

What You Need to Succeed and Thrive

You have:

• A degree in agriculture (or several years of experience in the field)
• Experience in operating machinery and a strong interest in agriculture
• A valid driver's license (B)
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language

You are:

• Responsible and meticulous in your work
• A team player who can collaborate with others in your environment, but also able to work independently
• Pesticide certification is an advantage

What We Offer You

An exciting seasonal position for the 2025 season, where you will have the opportunity to both develop and contribute to development. The employment will start according to agreement, with a desired start date from April 1 to October 31. There is a possibility for extension. The position is located in Kvänum, where you will report to the operations manager. If needed, there is an option for accommodation.
