Biometria's Department of Measurement Quality performs control measurements, quality assurance, training, and coaching at industrial measurement sites and out in the machine teams in the forest.

Your Responsibilities

As a field quality leader, you work on monitoring the accuracy of harvest measurements by ensuring the quality of harvest measurements and assessing the machine teams' ability to process the timber in the field. The work includes educating and coaching forest entrepreneurs.

About the Job

The current position initially involves being a field quality leader in southern Sweden, and you probably live in the southwestern part of Götaland. You are based at home and the work involves some travel within your geographical area of responsibility. The distribution of machine teams among quality leaders is adapted in the best possible way depending on the place of residence. In the future, assignments on the industrial side may also become relevant.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education and good computer skills. It is important that you are technically interested and have some experience in independent technical problem solving. Experience in timber measurement is a plus.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are a social person with leadership skills and a genuine interest in working with and developing people. You have a pedagogical inclination and can coach and provide constructive feedback. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create and maintain good relationships both internally and externally. You act professionally and have the ability to distinguish between the issue at hand and the person.
