AkzoNobel Adhesives has been manufacturing wood glue and resin systems in Kristinehamn since 1962. The products are used in the production of furniture, carpentry, flooring, and load-bearing structures. AkzoNobel Adhesives is primarily a production facility where our employees have various roles such as process operators, logistics and service operators, as well as a range of support functions within R&D, technology, quality, and customer service. From the factory in Kristinehamn, large volumes of wood glue and resins are delivered to customers around the world.

We are now looking for summer substitutes for our production facility to cover for our regular staff during the summer months of June - August. Most of our available positions are within production and warehousing, but we also have positions in QC and administration. What will you be working with?

Production

Our greatest need for summer substitutes is within our production. Here you will work in the process industry in operations, including service, rounds, and sampling. The work in production is scheduled for both daytime and shifts. As a person, you should be practically inclined and enjoy teamwork but also be able to take your own initiatives to solve problems.

Warehouse

Here you will work with order picking and forklift driving. The work in the warehouse is during the day. To work in our warehouse, you need a B driver's license, and it is an advantage if you have a forklift license. As a person, you should be practically inclined and enjoy teamwork but also be able to take your own initiatives to solve problems.

Laboratory Services

For our laboratory services, we are looking for someone who has started a university or college education in, for example, chemistry or chemical and process engineering. The work is mainly scheduled during the day. We value personal qualities such as teamwork, independence, and flexibility.

Administration

The administrative tasks include order/purchase and customer service. The work is mainly scheduled during the day. These positions require good communication skills and a high sense of service. Experience in similar tasks and knowledge of SAP is advantageous. We prefer that you have started university or college studies and have a couple of years left to study.

You are attentive, have a positive attitude, and high integrity. AkzoNobel continuously works on improvements, which means we appreciate if you enjoy taking your own initiatives to improve and solve problems. In addition, we also see that you meet the following:

• At least 18 years old.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• You should have at least a high school diploma, preferably with a natural or technical orientation.

• You need to be available for work between June - August. There is no possibility for leave during the summer substitute position.

• You need to have a B driver's license if you are to drive a forklift.

Additional Information

The positions are summer substitutes for all or part of the months from early June to mid-August. It is important that you are available for the entire work period. All of our positions are located at our site in Kristinehamn.

You will participate in mandatory introduction and training. As part of our work for a drug-free work environment, we drug test all new hires regardless of position.
