Floda Systemskylt

Shows the way. Signage with a focus on sustainability and quality.

Floda Systemskylt develops and manufactures signage solutions for both indoor and outdoor environments. In our own factory, we produce both standard signage systems and customized signs, including tactile solutions for wayfinding and information.

By having the entire production under one roof, we work with clear flows between workshop, printing, and assembly. This gives us good control over quality, materials, and lead times, as well as the opportunity to work long-term with sustainable materials and stable processes.

We are in a stable growth phase and are now looking for a responsible milling operator for our workshop.

About the role

As a responsible milling operator, you belong to the workshop department and have overall responsibility for milling in production. You do not work alone, but you have a clear responsibility for how the milling work is planned, executed, and coordinated with other parts of the manufacturing process.

Milling is a central part of our production chain and is done in close collaboration with the rest of the production chain. Your mission is to ensure that machines, programs, material flows, and working methods function stably, repeatably, and with the right quality.

The role combines practical work at the machine with responsibility for structure, order, and development of the milling processes. Other tasks in production may occur, meaning that the work does not solely consist of milling throughout the entire workday.

Examples of tasks:

  • Responsibility for milling within the workshop and associated workflows
  • Programming, setting up, and operating milling machines
  • Ensuring the right files, materials, and tools before operation
  • Quality control of milled parts
  • Maintenance, order, and structure around machines and work areas
  • Collaboration with other parts of production regarding needs, tolerances, and flows
  • Support and knowledge sharing with colleagues in the workshop

The work is planned and methodical, focusing on precision, quality, and operational reliability rather than speed.

Who we are looking for

You have solid experience in milling within the manufacturing industry and are confident in both machine and process. You thrive in a workshop environment where structure, order, and responsibility are central parts of everyday life.

You:

  • Work methodically and carefully
  • Take responsibility for the whole without becoming a bottleneck
  • Understand how milling affects subsequent processes
  • Find it easy to collaborate across departmental boundaries

Experience with materials such as plastic, aluminum, wood, or similar is an advantage.

Desirable experiences:

  • CNC milling and software
  • Tool selection, fixtures, and optimization of operations
  • Production of both standard parts and customized solutions

Language:

Swedish spoken and written is a requirement.

We offer

  • A clear responsibility role within the workshop
  • Modern facilities and well-maintained machinery
  • A stable work environment with a focus on quality and order
  • Collaboration with skilled colleagues throughout production

Selection is ongoing. Send your application or questions regarding the position to: [email protected]
