Markverkstad Öst (Mv Öst) is a department within the Markverkstad Unit that belongs to the Army Staff. The workshop performs maintenance on the Armed Forces' ground equipment, air base equipment, and provides technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and material investigation. The Markverkstad Unit delivers services according to customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities
As a spare parts specialist at the workshop, you will work with spare parts preparation and handling of materials in and out of the workshop, along with problem-solving related to this. You will also be responsible for ordering/purchasing spare parts for the vehicles used within the Armed Forces, such as patrol vehicles, tracked vehicles, heavy wheeled vehicles, and to some extent, other military-specific equipment.
The job involves ordering spare parts from the central warehouse and civilian suppliers, as well as managing the spare parts inventory. Daily tasks include ordering/releasing spare parts, receiving goods/material, and ongoing follow-up and inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone who has at least completed a two- or three-year high school education with a focus on automotive technology or equivalent, or skills acquired through work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
- You must have at least a B driver's license.

You are a team player who works well independently as well as in a group. As a spare parts specialist, you are structured, decisive, and make correct assessments and priorities. You are flexible and can easily shift your focus and adapt in a changing environment. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude towards work and the organization.

Meritorious
- Armed Forces mechanic training as a spare parts specialist or on any vehicle system.
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT system PRIO.
- Experience in spare parts management and/or warehouse work.
- High computer proficiency and good knowledge of the Office package (Word, Excel).
- Forklift license is desirable.
Other
Employment type: Permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period.
Employment rate: full-time, daytime – varying working hours may occur.
Work location: Markverkstad Öst/Eksjö.
Start date: As soon as possible after agreement.
The job also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally.
The position is a civilian role.
