Summer Job as a Correctional Officer

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and are now looking for more employees. Our main goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand centers, and client transport.

The Mariestad area includes the closed prison Johannesberg, the largest open prison in the country Rödjan, and the Remand Center in Mariestad. Currently, Mariestad has about 360 employees distributed across various professional categories and competencies. We are now looking for correctional officers who can work this summer at our three facilities.
