About the Job

We are looking for someone who desires a meaningful and varied job with the opportunity to make a difference within Night Home Care in the Örgryte/Härlanda district.

In Night Home Care, we always work in pairs to support each other in our work. The unit is based at Torpavallsgatan and operates on a schedule from 21:00 to 07:00.

Your tasks include planning and performing qualified care and service work within home care, as well as responding to urgent safety alarms. You will meet many new people and must be prepared for unforeseen events, where you will take on significant responsibility. Your workplace is the home of the care recipient, which means you must respect each person's privacy. You should be able to provide good care based on the individual needs of the care recipient. There may also be some health and medical tasks delegated by a nurse. You will have access to a car to quickly move between different parts of the district.

About You

Requirements

• We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and can present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding protected professional title, or can show that you were permanently employed at the introduction of the new regulations
• Has a B driver's license and good driving experience in city traffic
• Has good work experience in care work
• Good IT skills
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing

As a nursing assistant, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. The needs of the care recipient are the basis for your actions. Your communication is an important part of your work as you inform colleagues about important events, have conversations with care recipients, and need to document.

In your work, you take responsibility for your and the group's tasks with the care recipient's best interests in focus. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on how it went. The tasks vary based on the care recipient's needs and the alarms that come in, so it is important that you can adapt your approach based on changing conditions.
