We are looking for a group of care-interested nursing assistants and caregivers for various mobile home care groups in the municipality. What does the work in home care consist of?

• Assistance with daily care; for example, hygiene, showering, dressing, and undressing.
• Support in planning daily activities.
• Support during meals.
• Administration of medications, as well as basic wound care.
• Cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Accompaniment and/or relief at home.
• Administrative tasks, daily documentation, and the establishment of, among other things, implementation plans for care recipients.

As a nursing assistant, you also have a role as a permanent care contact with special responsibility for some of the group's care recipients.

What qualifications are required for the position?

• You are a trained nursing assistant, caregiver, or have other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have experience working in ordinary housing.
• You have a driver's license.
• You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can understand and convey information both verbally and in writing.
• You are computer and mobile savvy and can document in journal systems both on computer and mobile, as well as have phone contact with colleagues, relatives, and other stakeholders.
• You are flexible, responsible, and service-oriented with good collaboration skills.
• You are empathetic and good at meeting people.
• You contribute to a pleasant working environment where everyone feels welcome and seen.

More about the position:

Permanent full-time positions, probationary employment may be applied. To be employed with the title Nursing Assistant and compensated as a nursing assistant, you need to present the National Board of Health and Welfare's professional certificate or demonstrate that you have had a permanent position with the title nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023.

The home care service in Piteå is divided into different home care groups, some of which are based in central Piteå and others from the outskirts. Some home care groups in the city do not require a driver's license, while others are mobile and have driver's license requirements.
