Stenhagen
Stenhagen's care and support home focuses on individuals with care needs and dementia. The facility has 88 places distributed across four departments. Here, we work based on a rehabilitative approach and engage in both large and small activities with our residents, from outings to everyday moments that create joy and security. Our beautiful outdoor area and proximity to nature provide extra opportunities for a meaningful daily life. It is easy to reach us by public transport as there are frequent bus connections to Stenhagen.

Your Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant with us, you will have varied tasks and an important role in daily interactions with our residents. You provide personal care and services that make a difference in their daily lives, always with respect for each person's needs. You are responsible for planning and implementing activities between meals that create value for the residents. You also ensure that hygiene and care maintain a good quality.
Your responsibilities include:
- performing delegated health and medical care tasks
- documenting according to the Social Services Act
- collaborating closely with colleagues and licensed personnel to develop both the operations and yourself
- maintaining good contact with residents, relatives, and other important individuals in the resident's network
- working with palliative care at the end of life
- actively participating in teamwork around the residents
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- is a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements
- has good experience working with delegated tasks
- has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
Meritorious
- experience working in elderly care

You are calm and stable, even when there is a lot to do, and can focus on what is most important. As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is protected. To use the title of nursing assistant, you need to provide proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023. If you have nursing assistant training but lack proof or a certificate, you may, during a transition period, receive the title of care assistant.
In your application, you must state your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
Employment with Uppsala Municipality may involve a military placement.
