About the operation

The Personality Disorder Clinic is a highly specialized unit within the Affectivity operation at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. It is the only unit tasked with investigating and treating personality disorders in the Storgöteborg area. We offer a well-functioning workplace with a pleasant working environment and good climate, clear structure, and colleagues with high competence and extensive experience, as well as opportunities to participate in development work and education. We conduct several research projects and invest in new and promising treatment methods.

What do we offer?

This position is intended to enhance your competencies in psychiatry by integrating patient-centered work and development work. We offer a six-month employment that may be extended. The position also includes the opportunity for development/research work corresponding to approximately 10% of the employment, which is advantageous when applying for BT, AT, and ST positions. Based on your competence and experience, you will also be part of the primary on-call line at the psychiatric emergency department.

Job responsibilities

As a junior doctor, you will work with medication follow-ups and psychiatric assessments in close collaboration with the senior physician. The role also includes administrative tasks such as issuing certificates and referrals, as well as managing information services.

About you

You who are applying should be a licensed physician with a Swedish medical license. Previous experience in specialist psychiatric care is an advantage.
