Aura Train & Rail is a new and niche business area within Aura Personal, created to meet the growing need for the right skills in the train and railway industry – here and now, and over time. We are currently looking for Track Welders based in Stockholm!

As a track welder, you will work in a team with maintenance and new construction of rails. The work is varied and takes place in track environments, where safety, precision, and collaboration are crucial. You will also be involved in identifying, managing, and addressing deviations within your area of responsibility early on.

Common tasks include:

• Joint welding and overlay welding

• Cutting and grinding

• Pin soldering and gas soldering

Working hours will vary, and since travel, on-call duty at home, as well as weekend and night work occur, it is important that you live in the local area to minimize travel to and from the workplaces.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approved high school education

• Approved basic training in track welding (thermit and overlay welding).

• Experience in track welding within the railway

• B driver's license (manual)

• Meets medical requirements to be approved for safety service

Meritorious:

• Further training in track welding

• C driver's license

Since the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security check is always conducted before an employment offer is made.
