About the organization
The Operations Command (OPL) is tasked with supporting the Chief of OPL with relevant planning, implementation, and decision support for the management of the Swedish Armed Forces' operations both nationally and internationally. The Intelligence and Security Department is responsible for providing information and intelligence in the development of materials in all the above areas. This work involves handling a comprehensive information base with very high demands on structure and methodology.
We are now looking for an IT Security Specialist for the International Security Detail (ISD), which is part of OPL J2. ISD is under construction and is tasked with supporting various parts of the Armed Forces Headquarters with security protection abroad.
Main responsibilities
In the role of IT Security Specialist, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating the work to make the Armed Forces' command support systems at international staff locations, and in some cases also national ones, secure, robust, and accessible. You will support the operational manager in local accreditation of command support systems, which includes developing accreditation materials and documentation as well as collaborating with parties within the Headquarters and subordinate staffs and units throughout the accreditation process. Supporting the operational manager in the development of special security protection analyses and plans for the operations is also part of the role.
Furthermore, you will conduct periodic and ad-hoc controls based on applicable regulations on the Armed Forces' command support systems during overseas deployments, either independently or together with other functional representatives.
You may also support the OPL J2 security section in other IT security work and participate in J2 staff work.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Current and relevant experience in security service within the Swedish Armed Forces
- Current experience in the IT security field, for example as an IT security specialist, or equivalent education, such as a certified IT security manager
- Experience in handling ISUS
- Good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Driving license B

Meritorious
- Established contacts within the Headquarters
- Experience working in NATO or another relevant international environment
- Certified security manager in the Swedish Armed Forces
- Good knowledge of German and/or French in speech and writing

Employment type: Permanent employment, starting with a 6-month probationary period (for those not currently employed by the Swedish Armed Forces)

Start date: By agreement.
The work involves travel to the Armed Forces' international staff locations and work at these locations for shorter periods. During these periods, you will participate in international working and project groups.
