About the Role

As an employee with us, you represent Hornbach and are a role model in terms of commitment, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a sales associate for our garden department.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of Common Tasks

• Active sales of the product range within gardening, gardening tools, and plants
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and displays, as well as for setup and remodeling in the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Assist in other departments as needed

Your Profile

• High school education or equivalent and experience in retail
• Relevant work experience/education in gardening and gardening tools
• Passionate about providing our customers with the best possible service
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• It is an advantage if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4)

Working Hours/Duration

Seasonal employment, temporary. Part-time 20 hours/week. Fixed work schedule morning, evening, and every other weekend.

Salary

Salary according to collective agreement.
