Your responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work closely with patients and be an important part of the care chain. You will, among other things:

• Monitor vital signs and provide nursing care
• Handle telemetry and EKG
• Participate in ward rounds and document in the patient record system
• Contribute to care plans and risk assessments

About the department

Ward 5C is a cardiology department with four HIA beds (heart intensive care). Here, we care for patients with heart and vascular diseases, arrhythmias, heart failure, and postoperative care after heart surgeries. We have a high flow of patients and a close collaboration with the emergency department and heart clinic.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant, preferably with experience in emergency care
• Has a professional and attentive approach
• Enjoys working both independently and in a team
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Working hours are during the day, evening, and weekends, with a workload of 37 hours/week.
