We at Norlandia Fyllinge are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/care assistant and who wants and can work full-time or part-time throughout or part of the summer of 2026 at Fyllinge elderly care home in Halmstad. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Typical tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the resident's apartment. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. A very exciting job, simply put!

Fyllinge has 54 modern apartments distributed across six departments, two departments focused on dementia and four departments with somatic focus. Each department has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and balcony or patio for socializing, meals, and activities. In the private garden, there are good opportunities for outdoor stays and outdoor activities. Norlandia operates Fyllinge independently.

As a summer substitute at Norlandia, you will have access to Cappy – an app that gives you real-time insight into working hours and salary. You can see preliminary salary and how extra shifts affect your salary, can withdraw up to 50% of earned salary if needed (hourly employees; 29 SEK/withdrawal, no credit/interest), and gain access to training in personal finance.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points

• It is important that you have previous experience working in elderly care

• It is important that you are willing to take the delegations required for the role

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required

• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation

Employment form: Summer substitute

Scope: Full-time, part-time or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and positions may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by presenting proof of EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit, Swedish passport, or national ID card.
