About the assignment:

Our client is a man with visual impairment and balance issues who needs help and support in his home. He requires assistance with all transfers and enjoys walking with you as support. For longer walks, he uses a wheelchair and needs support during hygiene situations. He also needs help preparing food and drinks and taking care of the dishes resulting from cooking. He has a hearing impairment, which means he prefers quiet environments. The man lives in Hägersten, and there are good transport connections to get there, but it is preferable if you live within walking distance.

Your qualifications:

• You should be a calm person with clear speech.
• To assist the client safely during transfers, you need to be at least 160 cm tall.
• You have the ability to see what needs to be done and enjoy having a clean environment around you.
• Experience in guiding visually impaired individuals and assisting with transfers is an advantage.
• It is also beneficial if you are accustomed to driving someone in a wheelchair.

About the position:

2-3 shifts per week on weekdays, approximately 1.5 hours each. It may be longer if the client is going out for an activity.

We have one assistant/escort and are now looking for another person to share this position. There may also be opportunities for more hours or to combine this position with other assignments.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present a certificate from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment.
