Fire and Security Technician at Caverion

Caverion is now looking for a fire and security technician for their Technical Facility Management (TFM) contract with Stockholm Exergi. An assignment that includes technical management, operation, and maintenance of Stockholm Exergi's properties.

Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, ensuring the growing Stockholm region's access to heating, electricity, cooling, and waste services with resource-efficient solutions.

In this assignment, Caverion takes full responsibility for the operation, supervision, maintenance, and advisory services regarding technical property systems in approximately 50 objects, including five base facilities: Värtan, Brista, Högdalen, Hammarbyverket, and Hässelby.

The work is carried out in three geographical areas, and you will primarily be active in the Southern - Högdalen and Hammarbyverket.

As a fire and security technician, you will be an important part of a team that ensures the properties are operated safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

The Role

As a fire and security technician, you are responsible for the operation, service, and maintenance of fire protection systems such as fire alarms, sprinklers, and gas extinguishing systems. You will work with troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, inspections, and risk analyses. The role involves both independent responsibility and collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities.

Responsibilities:

Act as the facility manager for fire alarms, sprinklers, and gas extinguishing systems
Perform service, supervision, checks, and corrective maintenance
Troubleshoot fire protection systems and identify needs for action
Participate in risk analyses and contribute to safe and secure operations
Propose improvements and ensure that the facilities comply with laws and regulations

Your Background

Experience working with fire protection systems in complex properties (e.g., hospitals, shopping centers, industrial properties)
Education/certification as a facility manager (SBF 110, 120, 500) - alternatively willing to complete through internal training
Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding fire protection (e.g., The Act on Protection Against Accidents)
Independent, responsible, and service-oriented with experience in improvement work
