We are about 160 employees who together shape the future of child psychiatry. Our core activities consist of outpatient, intermediate, and inpatient care, as well as several specialized units. Ward S102 is the only child psychiatric inpatient care in Östergötland. We have six beds and work with both acute interventions and planned investigations.

The workgroup has group supervision with a licensed psychotherapist and “mirroring” where you can receive collegial support in your work. Furthermore, we view the willingness to develop positively and there are good opportunities for further studies. In our work, the conversation and meeting between you and the patient are key. When you work on Ward S102, you have time for the patient and the opportunity to make a difference.

Job Description

As a nurse on Ward S102, you work with the most important thing there is – our children and adolescents. You will have a central role in the care work and become a key person in the team.

The tasks are varied and include among others:

  • Leadership and collaboration with several professions.
  • Medication management, sampling, and educational meals.
  • Conversations with patients and parents.
  • Collaboration with residences, authorities, and care neighbors.

Workgroup

We are a positive and ambitious group consisting of doctors, nurses, caregivers, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and psychologists. Together we are responsible for ensuring that care maintains high quality and is based on the individual patient's needs.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience from psychiatric care or health care for children and adolescents is meritorious but not a requirement. You as a nurse need to feel secure with conversation as a tool and thrive in a varied work pace.

As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

For this position, we are looking for a colleague who is secure in themselves, has the ability to broaden their perspective, take in others' viewpoints, and who dares to lead others towards a common goal. The applicant should also enjoy working with relationship-building as we use ourselves as the primary tool in the department.
