Occupational Therapist for the Neuro Team at Primary Care Rehab Kungsholmen

Stockholms Sjukhem is one of Sweden's largest non-profit healthcare providers. We provide care and support without profit motives and have a wide range of services in rehabilitation, geriatrics, palliative care, and elderly care. We are expanding and are looking for an occupational therapist to join our neuro team at Primary Care Rehab Kungsholmen!

About Primary Care Rehab Kungsholmen

We take pride in our employees and have successfully gathered extensive and long-term expertise in our operations, which include outpatient care, home rehabilitation, speech therapy, and a neuro team. Together, we conduct and develop ambitious, qualitative, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts with the individual in focus. Our work is characterized by a lack of pretentiousness and care, where we share our knowledge and work proactively to deepen collaborations both internally and with external partners. Our goal is to be at the forefront of rehabilitation in Stockholm County, and we look forward to welcoming a new physiotherapist to our neuro team soon.

About the Role

The neuro team is a link in the care chain for patients with stroke, acquired brain injuries, and other neurological diagnoses.

The working method is person-centered, and everyone in the team contributes their specific knowledge to ensure that the patient has the conditions to achieve their goals. As a physiotherapist, you will work with assessment and implementation of measures aimed at strengthening the patient's functional ability and increasing their degree of independence in daily life. The team plans and follows up on rehabilitation together with the patient and their relatives. Rehabilitation primarily takes place in the patient's home and local environment but also individually and in groups at the clinic. Depending on the needs of the operation, work with other patient groups at our clinic may also become relevant.

Responsibilities also include supervising students. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system.

Are You Our Colleague?

If you are unpretentious, flexible, and interested in continuing to develop rehabilitation for the neuro team's target group, you will thrive with us, and we with you! Here, you will find generous colleagues who support and help each other. We place great emphasis on knowledge transfer, development, and collaboration. Our goal is to be at the forefront of rehabilitation in Stockholm County.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physiotherapist with expertise/experience in neurology.
  • Interest in improvement and development work.
  • Great importance is placed on personal qualities such as initiative and adaptability, having a positive attitude, and the ability to structure work.

Since we work a lot in the patient's home, one must be able to be in environments with pets and not be sensitive to tobacco smoke.
