Kiruna Lappland is the local marketing organization for the tourism industry in Kiruna. Together with our approximately 100 member companies, we work to develop and promote Kiruna as a strong and attractive destination, both nationally and internationally.

We are now looking for someone to manage our social media channels, develop member relations, and handle press in one of Sweden's most exciting destinations. As a key person in our small but dedicated team, you will have a varied role with both strategic and operational elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media: Strategic and operational work for the development of our social channels. You will create and publish content, plan and execute campaigns, work with digital advertising, and analyze results while interacting with followers.

Members: As the first point of contact, you will work to strengthen the relationship with our member companies. Tasks include improving member engagement, planning and executing activities, producing newsletters, recruiting new members, etc.

Press: Writing newsletters, press releases, and other external communications. Liaising with journalists and other external stakeholders. Handling press inquiries and visibility in traditional media.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant education in marketing, media, tourism, or equivalent experience as assessed by us.
• Good knowledge of social media and digital advertising.
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English. Additional language skills are a plus.
• Good writer with a sense of tone and target audience.
• Creative and structured.
• Able to plan and prioritize based on given goals.
• Easy to collaborate and build relationships.
