In this consulting assignment, you will play a central role close to production and suppliers, where you combine operational purchasing work with tactical and strategic elements. You will be an important part of a collaborative team and contribute to a stable and efficient supply chain in an international environment 🌍

Responsibilities

• Management of purchase orders and invoices

• Ensure material availability based on business needs

• Set safety stock, safety times, and batch formation

• Update material master data in SAP

• Tactical planning and balancing of material and component flows

• Drive and lead supplier meetings

• Follow up and develop supplier performance

• Participate in supplier qualification and evaluations, e.g., PPQ

• Prepare and conduct negotiations with suppliers

• Contribute to the development and implementation of purchasing strategies focusing on cost, quality, and delivery precision 🤝

Requirements

• Several years of experience in purchasing, preferably in larger organizations

• Experience working with international suppliers

• University degree in engineering and/or economics

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Good collaboration skills and experience in building strong relationships

• Structured and analytical working method with good problem-solving skills

• Confident in dialogues and negotiations with suppliers

• Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel

• Experience with SAP is an advantage 💡
