About us
The HR department is part of the University’s operational support and provides qualified support in HR matters to our five institutions and other departments. We work from a holistic perspective and provide proactive, operationally close, and accessible support to managers, management teams, and employees. With us, you will encounter an open and collaborative work climate where we utilize and develop each other's competencies and experiences. The department currently consists of nine employees with roles such as HR specialist, payroll and HR administrators, as well as HR manager and deputy HR manager. We have a close collaboration with the institutions and other parts of operational support.

Your role
As an HR specialist, you will provide consultative support to managers and participate in recruitment processes as well as provide qualified advice in HR matters. In addition to recruitment, the work may include interpreting laws and agreements, support in personnel matters and rehabilitation issues, as well as participation in negotiations. The role also includes administrative processes that require good knowledge of regulations for state employment. You will also be responsible for specific areas based on your expertise and work university-wide within HR.
Additional tasks may be included in the position.
We are looking for someone who has:
- a university degree at least at the bachelor's level with a focus on personnel and labor issues or another relevant area
- current work experience in the HR field
- good ability to create relationships and trust
- good ability to take initiative, independently organize, and drive your own work
- good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- documented good collaboration skills.
We will also value the following assessment criteria in the hiring process:
- Experience in interpreting laws and agreements.
- Work experience in the public sector.
- Good administrative skills and good system proficiency.
Employment type: The position is a temporary contract for two years.
