Slottshotellet continues to make strides on its journey and is now expanding its team with an additional receptionist! The position is a temporary contract for at least 12 months with the possibility of extension thereafter.

Job ResponsibilitiesAs a receptionist at Slottshotellet, you will be part of a close-knit team where everyone takes responsibility and contributes to the whole. Here you will have a varied job in the heart of the hotel to provide the best experience for our guests.
The reception team will consist of 2 night staff + 5 receptionists including you. You will work with:
Check-in and check-out of hotel guests.
Responding to incoming emails and booking inquiries to the hotel.
Entering room and conference bookings, managing cancellations and modifications, sending quotes.
Taking care of conferences at the hotel.
Contributing to a good work environment and collaborating with the hotel's other departments and teams to ensure satisfied guests and top-level service.
Handling complaints and issues professionally and capturing positive customer feedback to improve operations.
At least two years of previous experience in reception work within the hotel industry.
Very good language skills & communication skills in Swedish and English.
High social competence.
Computer literacy.
It is an advantage if you also have:
Education in hotel and tourism.
Experience working in hotel systems, e.g., Bookvisit and/or Visbook.
Knowledge of German.
Some serving knowledge.
Driving license B.

Other InformationStart: Immediately, by agreement.
Working hours: Varying hours day/evening/weekend. Schedule according to agreement.
Location: Slottshotellet, Kalmar.
Employment form: 75-80% employment rate. The position is initially a temporary contract lasting at least 12 months with good opportunities for extension for the right person. We are affiliated with the hotel and restaurant workers' union collective agreement.
