About the position

We offer an exciting job with different patient categories and fun colleagues. The hospital is located near the city center, within walking distance to good transportation options and close to nature and the sea. The work includes standard tasks as a nursing assistant in the ward with a focus on Internal Medicine/acute geriatrics. As a nursing assistant with us, you will work closely with patients in a healthcare environment. You will plan and perform daily care for the patient together with the rest of the care team. In ward 1, we care for multi-sick elderly patients who require presence and a person-centered approach, working with a holistic view. In ward 4, we care for acute medical patients with a focus on heart/infection/lung patients. With us, we work in a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, coordinators, as well as coordinating nursing assistants, rehab, and doctors.

The position includes day/evening and weekend shifts. We are looking for substitutes during the period of June, July, and August, on a part-time/full-time basis. You will receive an introduction based on experience and needs.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Standard nursing assistant tasks as a nursing assistant/caregiver.
• Care work.
• Monitoring vital parameters and EKG recording.
• Blood sampling, both venous and capillary.
• Documentation in the TakeCare journal system.

About you

For this position, you need to:

• Be a trained nursing assistant or a nursing student after T4.
• Have good Swedish skills, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in emergency care.

Since you will be replacing regular staff, we expect you to be self-sufficient and able to ask for help when needed. We see that you have good collaboration skills as the team consists of various professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled, focusing on the right things.
