Expert RoM for ATCC Malmö
Do you want a central role in leading change, planning, and developing operational activities? Are you also skilled at coordinating various tasks and driving work and individuals forward in the right direction? Then this could be something for you.
We are looking for a replacement for the role of Expert RoM at ATCC Malmö.
About the position
As an Expert RoM, you will be responsible, together with the department, for supporting the local operations at ATCC Malmö and ATCC Stockholm. You will work in a supervisory role and will be a cohesive force and support in the specialists' work with regulations and methods, analysis, and management of development areas within operations. You will be part of Team RoM (Regulations and Methods), where you will work 50% as Expert RoM.
The work at RoM is characterized by joy at work and a very good collaborative climate combined with high professionalism and a lot of personal responsibility. You will also have close cooperation with RoM Stockholm on issues that concern both centers, such as military matters, tasks related to R&D area management, and international collaborations with adjacent FIRs.
Your responsibilities and tasks
- Responsible for actively initiating tasks deemed necessary for the Operational Unit
- Supports GC in management work, monitoring operations, and decisions on how tasks should be solved
- Supports GC in updates/introduction of local routines
- Responsible for planning and leading RoM meetings
- Responsible for carrying out delegated tasks according to given directives and established processes/routines
- Accountable for the correction and publication of the Local Operations Manual
- Ensure that delegated tasks are quality and change managed according to current requirements before delivery
- Make decisions on how assigned tasks should be solved
- Delegate tasks to Specialists
Who are you?
To maintain high quality as an Expert, you will spend the remaining time working as an operational air traffic controller. You thrive in an environment with constant changes and have the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions. You feel confident making quick decisions and act calmly and controlled even under high workloads. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and have a good ability to prioritize and focus on what is most important at the moment. You remain calm even when the pace is high and expectations are great.
Furthermore, you find it easy to collaborate and communicate with others while being self-driven and proactive. You have a natural ability to see the big picture and are motivated to contribute to both development and efficiency in the organization.
Meritorious
- Valid operational authorization within ACC ESMM
- Previous experience as a Specialist in Regulations and Methods
Additional information
The position as Expert RoM is a 50% role with a category supplement level 2. The stationing location is Malmö-Sturup with a start date to be agreed upon.
The responsible manager is GC Regulations and Methods.
