Operations Technician at the Fortifications Agency

The Fortifications Agency owns, develops, and manages robust defense properties for peace, crisis, and war. With our unique expertise in defense properties, we create secure environments for a robust total defense.
Your Daily Life as an Operations Technician
The position belongs to the Southwest region, which operates in Skåne, Halland County, and Västra Götaland, and this position pertains to the Outer Skåne operational district with placement in Hästveda. Currently, there are 15 operations technicians working within the district.
You will work with the operation and maintenance of our properties, both independently and together with colleagues. The work includes daily inspections and maintenance, self-checks, as well as troubleshooting and repair of technical installations. This includes systems for heating, electricity, water and sewage, ventilation, as well as control, regulation, and monitoring systems.
The position includes contact with both customers and suppliers. On-call duty and training activities may be included, and travel within the district occurs.
Qualifications
We welcome you who have at least completed a technical high school education, or other completed education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.
You also have several years of experience working as an operations technician in property management or in a similar role. You have good IT skills and are comfortable working in various digital systems. You communicate clearly and professionally in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You have a good ability to troubleshoot property technical installations and can independently perform repairs. A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
It is advantageous if you have work experience where you have independently handled work orders and fault reports as well as coordinated subcontractors. Experience and/or education in areas such as water sampling or backup power is also a plus. In-depth knowledge of cooling, control and regulation technology, redundant systems, or experience working in the defense sector is also considered advantageous.

You are analytical and can easily understand problems, see connections, and find effective solutions. You work solution-oriented even when conditions change and maintain a calm, stable, and professional demeanor in various situations.

About the Employment
The position is a permanent employment and may begin with a probationary period. As a permanent employee, you will be placed in a military position. The place of employment is Hästveda. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. A security review with a background check will be conducted before employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
