Since 1984, Ortic AB has been producing machines for roll forming.

Currently, we are a machine supplier capable of delivering complete production lines where the need is to increase productivity and efficiency based on our roll forming solutions. In addition to complete machines, we provide everything in the area such as service, renovations, spare parts, and development of new forming tools.

Our headquarters is located in the Rågåker industrial area in Borlänge, and our customers are mainly in the Nordic countries and the Baltic region. We have 29 employees and see ourselves as the leading and natural partner when it comes to Roll Forming in the Nordic region.

Technical Project Manager at Ortic AB

Ortic AB continues its growth journey and is now looking for a Technical Project Manager who wants to drive customer-specific technical projects – from the first idea to a completed, operational production solution.

About the Role

As a Technical Project Manager at Ortic, you have a central and business-oriented role. You are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on technical projects from order to final delivery and commissioning at the customer. The projects vary in scope and complexity, giving you a varied everyday life with great personal responsibility and many points of contact.

You coordinate internal resources, suppliers, and customers, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met and that the technical solution meets both the customer's and Ortic's high standards. The role involves close collaboration with designers, production, and assembly, where you act as the hub of the project.

You drive your projects independently but are also part of a knowledgeable and unpretentious team where we support each other and share experiences and expertise.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from order to commissioned facility
• Plan and follow up on purchases, assembly, documentation, and deliveries
• Ensure that projects are executed according to set goals regarding time, quality, and economy
• Be the contact person for customers, suppliers, and internal functions
• Contribute to the development and improvement of working methods, routines, and processes

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a technical education, for example, as an engineer in mechanical engineering, mechanics, or equivalent. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent competence through solid experience in technical projects.

You have several years of experience in independently driving projects, preferably in customer-facing roles, and are used to combining technology, structure, and business acumen. You have a genuine technical interest, a practical approach, and thrive in an environment where you can take responsibility and make decisions.
