About the Role

As an Electrical and Automation Technician, you will belong to the Ludvika/Grängesberg operations team, which is part of the Production Department. The team is responsible for the operation and maintenance as well as projects within district heating. In the role of Electrical and Automation Technician, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and be responsible for projects at our production and distribution facilities, thereby contributing to our customers receiving deliveries of environmentally friendly district heating. On-call duty may be included. We work with continuous improvements, and in this work, you will play an important role in driving and implementing both large and small changes. We place great emphasis on safety in everything we do at our facilities, and it is our highest priority in our daily work.
Your tasks are divided into two areas:
Electrical and Automation
- Troubleshooting control systems, regulators, and field components
- Programming control systems and sequences
- Regulator optimization, signal conversion, and sensors (pressure, temperature, flow, level)
- Motor controls, frequency converters, and valve and damper control
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance of control/regulation equipment
- Documentation
- Communication (e.g., Profibus, Modbus, or Profinet) & network (diagnostics and configuration)
- Projects
- Facility optimizations
- Contractor management
Maintenance
- Preventive maintenance on the facilities
- Mechanical work
Requirements
In this role, you will learn a lot on-site, but to succeed, it is good if you have:
- Education as an automation technician or equivalent work experience
- Experience in maintenance and mechanics
- Good computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Driving license B
- Experience in the energy sector is an advantage
- Experience in improvement work is an advantage

As a person, we appreciate that you can easily create structure and plan your work well. In this role, circumstances may change, and it is important that you are flexible and quickly adapt to the situation.
