Development Engineer – Focused on Digital Solutions, Analysis, and Collaboration

Quant is headquartered in Stockholm and is a leading provider of professional industrial maintenance services with a global presence, operating in approximately 90 facilities worldwide and employing around 2500 people.

We are now looking for a:

Your Role

As a maintenance engineer, you are a key person in creating proactive and long-term solutions that strengthen operational reliability in the factory. You will work on developing our service operations – both strategically and practically – with a particular focus on supporting users, optimizing, and further developing our maintenance system.

Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing and improving smart digital tools and maintenance systems. You will be the person who coordinates ongoing or upcoming digitalization projects, both internally & externally.
• Actively participating in the department's safety work, including incident reporting and risk assessments.
• Analyzing and presenting maintenance data. You will drive the work with Life Cycle Analyses to provide valuable data to our customers in investment projects or improvement efforts.
• Contributing technical expertise and solution proposals in development projects.
• Being part of a team with maintenance engineers & project managers, where you will also perform daily tasks such as creating FU instructions, lockout/tagout instructions, and calculating costs & participating/driving Root Cause Analyses (RCA).

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong system skills and experience with maintenance systems (knowledge of Maximo is a plus).
• Is analytical and solution-oriented with the ability to translate data into concrete improvements.
• Has strong social skills and enjoys building relationships – both internally and with customers.
• Is communicative and confident in delivering small presentations and leading discussions on improvement work.

Experience and Competence:

• A degree in a relevant field is desirable, but not required; equivalent experience and social skills are highly valued.
• Documented experience in KPI monitoring, Life Cycle Analyses (LCA), and improvement work is preferred.
• Ability to read machine documentation, drawings, and create business proposals.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft systems and experience working with maintenance systems.
