On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for a construction manager in the industrial sector for Stockholm. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on 2026-02-09 and last until 2027-02-09, with the possibility of extension.

Role Description

The purpose of the role: The construction manager / sub-project manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the construction-related parts of the project so that the work is carried out according to established goals regarding time, cost, quality, working environment, and environment.

The role acts as the link between Project Managers, contractors, consultants, and clients.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure/develop technical specifications and tender documents and be responsible for evaluation and procurement in consultation with Project Manager/Project Owner and Purchasing

• Lead and follow up construction contracts within the assigned sub-area

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the construction process from start to completion

• Ensure that the work is carried out according to contracts, documents, and regulatory requirements

• Participate in design and review of construction documents

• Assist in developing and following up schedules for construction work

• Monitor costs, forecasts, and change and additional work (ÄTA)

• Ensure quality through self-checks, inspections, and follow-ups

• Manage deviations and propose corrective actions

About You: We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:

• Education: Civil engineer, university engineer, construction engineer, or equivalent. Alternatively, vocational training with relevant experience.

• Several years of experience in construction management or project management within construction/infrastructure * Good knowledge of contract forms (AB, ABT) and *AMA*

• Good knowledge of the construction process, regulatory requirements, and industry standards

• Good knowledge of PBL, BBR, AML

• Good computer skills, e.g., MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, SharePoint

• Driver's license (work both on construction sites and in the office within Greater Stockholm)

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you also meet the following requirements:

• PMI certification
