About the hotel

Scandic Visby is located with the best starting point to explore the medieval town or to drive out into the countryside. A lovely hotel with a resort feel, where the rooms are divided into different buildings. Our restaurant is open year-round where we serve breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening, with menus that change according to the season. During the summer, we open our lovely outdoor terrace with an outdoor pool, and for those who want to swim year-round, we offer the hot tub under the open sky.

We are now looking for Hotel Cleaners for Scandic.

What does the role entail?

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the important task of ensuring that the hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and that our guests get a “wow-feeling” when they step into the hotel and their hotel room. The role includes cleaning hotel rooms, corridors, pantries, and common areas. You and your colleagues contribute to the general order in the hotel’s premises, handle laundry, and replenish our supplies.

Who are you?

To thrive in the role, you need to be meticulous and have an eye for detail. It is important that you have good physical fitness, are flexible, and have good teamwork skills as all employees together are responsible for the guest's experience. You spread good energy around you and are a caring colleague. You have previous experience in cleaning, guest service, and can communicate in Swedish. Since we use iPads, you need to have some computer skills. Previous experience from hotels is an advantage as well as education in Hotel Management or cleaning.

Information about the position

We are looking for several seasonal part-time positions, approximately 50-80%. We need staff from April/May until September/October. There are also positions that only apply for the summer months. The hotel is open every day of the week, so you will work weekdays and weekends, and evening shifts may also occur.
