Our mission is to provide advice, support, and treatment to individuals with permanent disabilities such as movement disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and autism.
We work in a cross-professional manner where our efforts aim to facilitate the daily lives of people with disabilities and to strengthen the individual's ability to live a good and independent life. Support for relatives and people in the surrounding environment is also part of the team's tasks. We work closely in teams consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, and psychologists.

About the position:
You will be placed at Habilitation Center Järva Vux, located in Möllanhuset in Rinkeby. The center shares premises with Habilitation Center Järva for children, making collaboration between child and adult units smooth. Habilitation Center Järva Vux also collaborates closely with Habilitation Center Brommaplan Vux as they currently have shared management.
Your role involves providing interventions to patients regarding their disabilities, such as advice on physical activity and exercise, assessment/investigation of motor function and activity ability, as well as some treatment. The work includes prescribing assistive devices, for example, for standing training and orthoses, consultation for people in the surrounding environment, e.g., personal assistants, housing staff, and staff at daily activities. Collaboration with other healthcare providers, such as tone clinics, orthopedic workshops, assistive device centers, and other habilitation units is also included.
About you:
We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with clinical experience working with individuals with disabilities.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability: You have a strong interest in people and are motivated to help those in need of your physiotherapeutic knowledge. You are confident in your professional role, attentive to the unique needs of different patients and families, and have a consultative working method. You plan, develop, and drive patient work forward in a structured manner. This requires both a sense of responsibility and initiative, as well as the ability to collaborate.
Employment form:
The position is a permanent full-time position. Start date according to agreement.

In patient-related work within the Stockholm County Health Care Area:
- background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to applicable guidelines.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
