We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a tourist information officer at Kiruna's tourist center. Our guests come from all over the world and experience Kiruna and its surroundings as very exotic. Therefore, we have high demands that you have a great interest in learning more about Kiruna and its surroundings.

We wish that you have a strong sense of good service, are flexible, have high social competence, are easy to collaborate with, and can speak and write well in English and fluent Swedish. As the pace can be high at times, it is essential that you are meticulous and organized, as well as able to take your own initiatives and responsibility. We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and has a big heart for Kiruna.

Job Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as a tourist information officer will be to inform about and promote Kiruna's tourist offerings. Booking activities, updating and searching for information, cash handling, and some administration. We are a small team, and it is natural for us to help each other depending on what the situation requires. Therefore, other tasks may arise if needed.

Meritorious

• Education or work in the tourism industry
• Experience with InDesign or similar programs.
• Experience working with digital channels.
• Additional language skills, such as German and French
• We offer guided tours year-round to LKAB's Visitor Centre in the world's largest underground iron ore mine. We would like you to attend a guide training of about 5-6 days to be able to step in and guide our visitors in the mine when needed.

Full-time, daytime including weekends.
