About Viljan Tallbackagården

Viljan Tallbackagården is located in a scenic area in Taberg, just outside Jönköping. The facility provides a homelike and safe environment for adult men and women aged 20 and above with mental disabilities, such as psychotic disorders, affective disorders, neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF), and some comorbidity.

Viljan Tallbackagården has a total of 24 places. Of these, 17 are short-term places with communal living and 7 are BmSS places with private apartments.

Our approach is motivating and supportive, with a strong focus on building trusting relationships to promote participation and safety. The work is based on the assignment from the placing authority, where the client – together with and supported by their contact person – participates in designing, implementing, and following up on individual support measures.

The facility has a cross-professional team consisting of a deputy manager, nurse, occupational therapist, support assistants, housekeeper/cook, and caretaker. A specialist doctor is connected to the facility on a consulting basis.

Job Description for the Position of Operations Manager

In the role of Operations Manager, you will work independently to drive, lead, and develop the operations. You will have access to an established and proven concept based on effective quality work and systematic work environment efforts. In your assignment, you will receive support from regional resources and central functions within quality, finance, marketing, and HR.

You will report directly to the Regional Manager and be part of a competent and engaged management team where collaboration, support, and experience exchange contribute to your success in your role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the operational management of the facility, including personnel responsibility and staffing planning

  • Drive and develop ongoing quality and operational development work

  • Ensure compliance with applicable agreements, assignments, and regulations

  • Follow up occupancy in relation to budget and set goals and collaborate with the sales function

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Educated social worker, behavioral scientist, or other relevant higher education of at least 180 credits in health and care, or other education deemed equivalent that qualifies to hold a permit from IVO (manager for the facility)

  • Experience in care operations and documented leadership experience

  • Experience in budget work and financial follow-up/analysis/forecast

  • Flexible, responsible, and with good collaborative skills

  • Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

  • Holds a driver's license

Meritorious

  • Previous experience in private care operations
