Are you an experienced welder looking for the next step in your career? We are now seeking you who want to become a part of MVUSAB, where quality and teamwork are in focus.

The role of the welder includes varied tasks both in the workshop and at MVUSAB's customers. The job responsibilities include welding in black and stainless steel (MIG/MAG, TIG), from small to very large components. You are responsible for quality checking your own components and work a lot with reading blueprints. The work is mostly independent, but in larger projects, you work in teams. Powder welding, as well as forklift and overhead crane operation, may also occur.

Location: Smedjebacken

Extent: Full-time

Working hours: Daytime initially, then transitioning to 2-shift

We prefer that you have several years of experience in welding with MIG, MAG, and TIG. You are accustomed to reading blueprints and working independently. As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and have an eye for detail. You have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards varied tasks.

• Several years of experience in welding (MIG/MAG/TIG)

• Good knowledge of reading blueprints

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Forklift license B1

• Overhead crane license

• Driving license B and access to your own car

• Training in welding

• Experience working with bending machines

• Scissor lift training

• Hot work

• Certificates according to 3834 and 1090-2 level 3

• Experience with Monitor business system

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Welding tests will be conducted during the interview.

MVUSAB (Morgårdshammars Verkstäder) is a workshop company in Smedjebacken with over 150 years of industrial tradition. They specialize in the manufacturing, welding, and assembly of heavy and advanced steel structures, including dam gates, steel nodes for high-rise buildings, mining machinery, and heat exchangers for the paper industry.

The company has about 115 employees and is known for its high competence in mechanical manufacturing, even in extensive projects. They work with both manual and CNC-controlled machines and offer service, maintenance, and manufacturing in materials such as black and stainless steel, aluminum, and copper.
