Job Advertisement: Proofreader for the Automotive Industry

We are now looking for someone interested in working part-time for one of our clients in the automotive industry for at least a year ahead. The assignment can be performed from anywhere in Sweden, and all you need is a computer and the right language skills!

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for three new colleagues who will be responsible for proofreading our client's training materials, which are distributed across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. As the client operates globally, it is of utmost importance that all their material is accurately translated into relevant languages before it reaches their customers and other external stakeholders. The translations are initially done by the company's European headquarters, and the assignment involves proofreading the translations for correct language use and ensuring the accuracy of technical terms. The assignment requires not only good language skills but also a basic technical understanding of the automotive industry.

The assignments will occur regularly each month and are expected to be completed within given deadlines, usually within 1-2 weeks. Each assignment is assigned via email, and all necessary information will be provided through the client's portal, Liongate. On-site colleagues will be available to answer any questions regarding translations or technical terms.

The work is flexible and requires an availability of at least 8 hours per month. This allows you to work from any location in Sweden, with the opportunity to adjust your working hours according to your own schedule and use your personal computer for the tasks. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Is a student or has another main occupation of at least 50% for at least 1 year ahead
• Is a native Norwegian speaker in both spoken and written language, as the assignment is conducted entirely in Norwegian
• Is available to work at least 8 hours per month on short notice
• Has a good technical understanding and interest in the automotive industry
