FMLOG Supply is growing and establishing a new operation in Östersund where you will be part of creating a robust organization. At the Swedish Armed Forces Logistics (FMLOG) Supply Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with exciting tasks to help make Sweden and the world safer. You will work at FMLOG Supply, which procures, stores, maintains, and decommissions supplies for the Armed Forces at all levels of preparedness. Logistics must be efficient and ensure high availability for all types of supplies throughout Sweden, which means that production, planning, and customer support are also important parts of our work.
Main Responsibilities
As a production coordinator, you will have varied tasks aimed at creating good conditions for improving and supporting both daily and long-term operations. You enjoy working both operationally and strategically; you are responsible for systematically identifying and implementing improvements within the warehouse operations and our interfaces, from idea and execution to documentation and follow-up. You support the department with management and follow-up so that the department obtains the structure required to store materials according to specified conditions. Your tasks also include compiling, analyzing, and leading the work regarding staff orders, which requires good administrative skills. You will coordinate and analyze the department's resource needs, as well as support with documentation, initiate, and follow up on purchases and investments.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- High school education of at least 3 years or what the employer deems equivalent
- Several years of work experience in a supervisory position within warehouse operations, such as team leader, project manager, manager, or what the employer deems equivalent
- Good knowledge of the Office suite
- Driver's license with at least category B (manual transmission)
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Personal Qualities
You take responsibility for your tasks and structure your work in the best way, which means you have the ability to plan, analyze, organize, and prioritize work effectively. Flexibility and initiative are prerequisites, as varied tasks occur and circumstances change. The role of production coordinator requires independence, but a strong willingness to help others is also necessary. The Armed Forces is in a significant growth phase; to succeed in this role, you need to embrace change, have a lot of energy, and be able to handle a fast pace.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
DESIRABLE
- Previous service in the Armed Forces
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' operations and materials
- Experience with the SAP business system (PRIO), Astro
- Experience in project management
- Experience in developing and following up on processes.
- Work with classified operations.

Work location Östersund.
The job involves travel within the position.
The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probationary period.
