Here you will work alongside colleagues in the departments of communication, HR, IT, finance, procurement, and property, as well as in the departments of quality and planning, sustainability, safety, security, and preparedness, and the secretariat. The Municipal Executive Office also houses the organizations for business and destination as well as shared services. The Municipal Executive Office is the link between our elected representatives' decisions and all municipal operations. Funbo School

Funbo School is a F – 3 school with approximately 160 students. The school is located about 13 km east of Uppsala. The school was built in 1876 but has been renovated and expanded over the years so that operations can be conducted in bright and suitable premises. The kitchen is part of a head chef unit with several school and preschool kitchens in the Funbo, Almunge, Länna, and Knutby area (abbreviated FALK). Collaboration between the kitchens is a given, and joint meetings and gatherings are also held.

Working Hours

The working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. You will work alongside a colleague but will have primary responsibility for the operation of the business and handle all cooking.

Job Description

As a chef, you will prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as clean and disinfect utensils, machines, and surfaces. You are expected to cook and bake from scratch as much as possible. It also includes developing the serving options and allergy diets, as well as performing self-checks in accordance with applicable legislation.

Other tasks included in the role:

• manage dishes
• maintain daily cleaning routines
• place food orders
• handle special diets
• work with HACCP
• receive deliveries, inventory, and work in the serving area where you meet the students.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a chef's education. To succeed in the role, you need to have experience working as a chef. The job also requires that you have good knowledge of food hygiene and good knowledge of special diets. Good oral and written skills in Swedish are also required for the position.

If you have HACCP training and experience with food orders, this is considered an advantage. We also prefer that you have good computer skills and knowledge of meal planning systems (e.g., Mashie or Mateo).
