At the school, we have two school nurse positions -- a total of 1.5 positions. We are looking for you, a licensed nurse with further education in school health care, alternatively health and medical care for children and young people, or a district nurse, who wants to contribute to our school's community.

As a school nurse with us, you primarily work preventively and promote health, and you are part of the school's student health team. Based on your medical expertise, you create the best possible conditions for students' health, development, and learning. The work involves collaboration with students, parents, school staff, as well as the school doctor and your school nurse colleague. You are also part of a team with school nurses at other schools.

You who are applying for the job have experience working as a school nurse and feel confident in your role. You enjoy the responsibility and freedom that the job as a school nurse entails.

You are attentive to the needs of students and the organization and can easily adapt your working methods to different conditions. Your values align well with those of Västbergaskolan, and you are positive, solution-focused, and flexible. You have a good ability to collaborate and follow common agreements. You have the ability to plan and implement the medical interventions of student health and carry out tasks in accordance with applicable advice and instructions.

The school collaborates with Klara Student Health, which has the healthcare provider responsibility for school health care. They provide solid methodological support and offer continuing education, medical supervision, follow-up of deviations, etc.

Student health is a central part of Västbergaskolan, and all staff collaborate to provide our students with opportunities to develop towards the goals of education. One of our focus areas is Student Health All Day. It is a development project that focuses on a safe and accessible learning environment so that all students can achieve the best possible school success and develop into secure, independent individuals.

The degree of employment can be discussed. We have a need for 100% during the spring term, of which 50% aims for a permanent position with an extension in the form of a temporary position of about 50%. From the autumn term, the plan is for it to be 50% with a possible opportunity for extension in a temporary position.

Start date April 1 or by agreement.

Salary according to agreement.
