Paramedics Needed for Our Ambulance Stations

Our ambulance stations need more colleagues during the summer who want to contribute to the important community mission we have.

Our ambulance stations are located throughout the county, and you will work where there is a need during the summer.

Basic Requirements

• Previous experience working in an ambulance
• At least a B driver's license and good driving experience in urban traffic.
• Good physical condition as heavy lifting is required. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications

Paramedic

• Specialist nurse with a focus on ambulance care
• Specialist nurse with another relevant focus such as emergency, anesthesia, ICU, and at least two (2) years of experience in emergency or ambulance care.

Nurse in Ambulance

• Licensed nurse with at least one (1) year of experience as a nurse in emergency care.

Ambulance Caregiver

• Assistant nurse with additional training in ambulance care and at least two (2) years of experience as an assistant nurse, preferably in emergency care.

About the Ambulance Care Administration

The Ambulance Care Administration is responsible for ambulance care in Region Stockholm and performs both emergency assignments via 112 and specialized care assignments such as intensive care ambulances and psychiatric ambulances. We provide care where people are and during transport, in close collaboration with other healthcare actors. Through education, research, and continuous development, we contribute to safe and modern ambulance care throughout the county.
