Job Description

Securitas is now looking for a security guard for an assignment within critical operations for Sweden. This is a role for you who want to combine security, service, and structure in a professional environment – where your approach is as important as your ability to follow routines.

As a security guard with us, you primarily work at the reception. You are often the first person that visitors and staff meet, making you an important part of the overall impression of the operation. The role involves a calm, safe, and orderly way of working where clear routines and structure create stability in everyday life.

The work is largely routine-based and predictable, which suits you who appreciate order, continuity, and clear instructions. At the same time, you are prepared to act professionally if something unexpected occurs – always according to established guidelines.

You have a natural service focus and enjoy meeting people. You are attentive, clear, and confident in your role. Setting boundaries in a respectful manner is a natural part of the job – if there is a lack of authorization or access, a clear no applies, regardless of who the person is.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 17:00, which provides a good balance between work and private life and is unusual for a security guard role. The position also involves carrying a weapon while on duty, which places high demands on responsibility, accuracy, and judgment.

The position includes, among other things, that you:

• Protect critical operations from unauthorized access and other threats
• Perform checks according to applicable regulations and instructions
• Collaborate with staff and authorities on security issues

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you need to meet certain basic requirements. You have approved grades in Swedish and English from at least the first year of high school, hold a B driver's license, are a Swedish citizen, and can be approved in a security clearance. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and would like you to have experience from operations where structure, responsibility, and compliance are central. Previous work in the security industry, emergency services, correctional services, the Armed Forces, or completed military service is therefore meritorious.

Specifically requested requirements:

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license
• Swedish citizenship
• Experience from the Armed Forces, security industry, correctional services, or similar operations

We believe that you are service-oriented, calm, and structured, and that you can handle periods of high tempo. You are technically interested, easily understand instructions, and work independently but collaborate well when needed. You are systematic, meticulous, and have an eye for detail. Personal suitability will weigh heavily, and we are looking for someone who is honest, helpful, and vigilant – a person who creates safety for others.

Security Clearance

Please note that the position is classified and means that you will undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to applicable regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities according to the Security Police's regulations and guidelines. Information obtained may, for example, come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment of you, your life situation, and financial conditions when assessing your suitability.

If applicable, a corresponding check may be made of the person you cohabit with or have a similar relationship with.

To be considered for the position, it is therefore required (at a minimum) that;

• You/they do not appear in the Police Authority's various registers, e.g., suspect registers, criminal records, etc.
• You/they have organized finances; do not have payment remarks, unresolved debts, or appear with collection agencies or the Enforcement Authority
