MAINTENANCE ENGINEER MECHANICAL AT STORA ENSO SKOGHALL

Are you a qualified engineer looking to take on the role of Maintenance Engineer Mechanical? In our team, we ensure the availability of our machinery and continue our journey to create world-class maintenance!We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer Mechanical who will work with preventive maintenance at Skoghalls mill. You will work in the Packaging Materials division and report to the Maintenance Section Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Maintenance Engineer, you are the spider in the web and are involved in both long-term and short-term maintenance projects aimed at ensuring technical availability within mechanical maintenance. Within the section, there are several maintenance engineers working in different areas where you will be a contributing player with your expertise and collaborative skills. Furthermore, you will:

Ensure that the section's set goals are achieved and that established activities are carried out.
Initiate corrective and preventive measures to achieve both short-term and long-term goals, aiming to increase the operational reliability and maintainability of production equipment.
Drive investigation and optimization work, establish and maintain plans for the plant's technical status, and act as technical support in daily operations.
Create instructions, develop training materials, and conduct training for other staff within the section.
Collaborate with external suppliers and internally with many different stakeholders.

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Your knowledge in the field is based on a post-secondary engineering education. To succeed in this role, you have previous experience in maintenance operations or other activities that can be deemed equivalent. The role requires good process and technical knowledge. You are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. As a person, you are responsible and have the ability to prioritize among many tasks. You are engaged and analytical and used to driving projects. Furthermore, we believe you possess a strong ability to think long-term and take initiatives for improvements. We will place great emphasis on who you are as a person and your technical interest. You are a problem solver who is eager to initiate new solutions to create and meet changes.
