We are looking for someone with a technical education and a burning interest in construction and production. Experience in fixture and clamping construction as well as production-adapted construction is a merit. We use Siemens NX as our main CAD system, and previous experience with this is an advantage.

Your work will mainly involve:

• Designing fixtures, clamping solutions, and other production aids.
• Developing internal operation models and production documentation.
• Creating technical drawings and documentation for internal and external production.
• Ensuring that the developed designs are needs-adapted and deliver the right quality, right production efficiency at the right cost.
• Creating and updating assembly instructions and other production documentation.
• Collaborating with CAM production technicians and other colleagues to solve technical challenges.
• Participating in improvement work and investment projects as a member of our production technology team.

To succeed in this role, we believe you need:

• Qualified experience in CAD-based work and production design.
• Solid knowledge of drawing standards, including dimensioning, tolerances, and standards.
• Experience working with Siemens NX or similar CAD systems.
• Basic understanding of production technology work and production methods.
• Knowledge of the Machinery Directive and its application in design contexts.

Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is a workshop company focused on machining, qualified welding, assembly, and inspection of heavy and medium-heavy components and complete systems. We serve sectors such as Defence, Marine, Industrial Machines, and Aerospace.

Additional information:

The work mainly takes place at our production unit in Kristinehamn. Travel in the service may occur.
