Wenmec operates a customer-order production where they prioritize environment, safety, quality, delivery reliability, and economy. They work with long-term relationships and as a system supplier, they take full responsibility for the entire chain from production to delivery. Wenmec's production facility and head office are located in Kil in southern Värmland. Wenmec also has manufacturing in Laxå and in China through the company's subsidiary. In total, the Wenmec group today has about 150 employees.

About the position

As a metrology technician, you will work closely with production and be part of the cross-functional quality team. Together, you ensure that the work maintains the highest possible quality through efficient collaboration and precise measurements.

Your responsibilities include:

Performing measurements manually and using a 3D scanner
Evaluating results and creating dimensional protocols based on measurement results
Communicating measurement results both internally and externally
Handling traceable material with associated material documentation
Ambulatory controls in production
Establishing deviations in our MPS system
Being cohesive in external measurements

Depending on your previous knowledge, you may also work with inspection/final checks and troubleshooting of deviations in production.

Working hours: Daytime Monday - Friday

Who are you?

To succeed in the role of metrology technician, we see that you have the following qualifications:

Engineering or technical high school education, or relevant experience that we consider equivalent
Good knowledge of drawing interpretation and metrology
Good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
A structured work style and ability to work meticulously

In addition to these basic requirements, we see it as a merit if you have:

Practical experience in machine processing
Knowledge of CAD/CAM
Forklift and overhead crane license
