Logistics Unit Stockholm is Hiring a Storeman for the Mobilization Department

About the Unit:
The Logistics Unit Stockholm is a unit at the Life Guards that supports military units from the operational locations of Stockholm, Solna, and Kungsängen.
The unit currently consists of a Staff, a Technical Department, two Supply Departments in Stockholm and Kungsängen, and a Mobilization Department based in Kungsängen. The Logistics Unit contributes to a stronger defense force through well-functioning logistics, unit-close supply management, supply provisioning, and ordering of material maintenance in peace, during readiness increases, and in war.

Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate to develop the work team and department
- Represent the section and/or department in various forums
- Conduct accounting and inventory of supplies in the Armed Forces' accounting systems Lift, Prio (SAP), and other IT systems
- Work with large parts of a logistics chain, from warehousing, packing, transportation, and supply management to maintenance
- Systematically build up supplies with the material and provisions of the combat units
- Participate in exercises across the Armed Forces
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Approved upper secondary education
- Several years of experience in storage/warehouse work, within a service profession, or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer
- Driver's license at least class B (manual)
- Very good experience working in a digital computer environment
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Forklift licenses at least LPT10 B classes
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is structured, curious, orderly, and has a sense of service. Interacting with new people should be second nature to you, and you can express yourself well in speech and writing. You will work in a team, so we prefer that you can collaborate well with others and have good camaraderie, but also be able to work independently and take your own initiatives and responsibilities. As a person, you are resilient, meticulous, and loyal. Personal qualities will be given significant weight in the selection process.
Meritorious
- Experience handling the Armed Forces' accounting systems Lift, Prio (SAP)
- Previously worked with the Armed Forces' material
- Knowledge and experience from the Armed Forces' operations
- Military driving licenses
- ADR Sender and basic
- Wheel loader and forklift licenses within LPT10 C licenses
- Experience in customer service/sales or similar
Other:
Employment type: Permanent position starting with a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the Armed Forces
Employment rate: Full-time
Work location: Kungsängen, Upplands-Bro municipality but also at other locations during the work shift
Working hours: Daytime but other hours may occur. Travel and exercises are expected.

The Life Guards is one of the largest units in the Armed Forces with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel who will carry out international missions. We guard the royal palaces, have security and ground combat units. We are also responsible for preserving and developing the Swedish military music tradition. Our headquarters is in Kungsängen outside Stockholm, but we are also located in Sollentuna, central Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, and Karlskrona.
